Old Town is a neighborhood in Chicago, Illinois, found within sections of Lincoln Park and the Near North side.  The boundaries tend to vary by who you talk to, however generally they agreed to be bounded by Larrabee Street on the west, Clybourn Avenue on the southwest and Division Street on the south and Clark Street on the east and northeast and Armitage on the North.  Old Town includes the Old Town Triangle Historic District. which is bounded on its northwest side by the former Ogden Avenue right-of-way, its northeast side by Lincoln Avenue and Wells Street, and on its south side by North Avenue.

Old Town is a sought after residential real estate area -- considered to be both affluent and historic, with a wide selection of new construction homes populating the area.

Unike much of Chicago, many of the streets and alleys predate the Great Chicago Fire and do not adhere to the common grid pattern.
